Letter from Informant: We received this letter from someone obviously with knowledge of the Macrihanish situation who was answering our plea for the truth on this matter. Beyond Boundaries chooses not to reveal the identity at this time of the writer....Please just trust us--at least for now. We have received so much documenting material on this subject that we feel there is enough truth and validity to the report to pass it along to you! Joyce

Letter begins....... Hi Joyce,

Caught your mail on UK UFO Net -...... A friend of mine (ex SAS) visited Campbelltown earlier this year to attend the inquest on the helicopter crash south of the airbase at Macrihanish. Several top MI5, SAS, Special Branch, and N. Ireland police (all IRA specialists and friends of his) were killed on this Chinook chopper which hit a mist covered hill at 200 knots. He is convinced that US Navy seals were behind this disaster which apparently involved warping of the VHF nav beam (situated at the military airport). Other Nav Equipment on the chopper was mysteriously down on the day that this experienced pilot flew into the hill whilst following from N. Ireland (standard Practise) the VHF beam (normally via a lighthouse through the valley into the base). Also standing orders prohibited all these men being on the same aircraft. A top UK SAS man (with strong links to USA intel and skulduggery) ordered these men to fly together that day - due to another aircraft being "unavailable." Apparently they have conferences at this base, and play golf on its golf course. Motive apparently was introduction of "new peace initiatives" by USA in the Irish scenario - which required removal of these men.....There is a suspicion that Ron Brown's plane crash death in Bosnia involved a similar warping of the VHF Nav beam..........

(Editor’s note: We have visited this supposedly closed base twice in the last 6 months and have questioned surrounding residents as to their knowledge and beliefs as to what is really going on here - and does it involve extraterrestrial and/or interdimensional phenomena?)

Our informant goes on to report to us that his friend met a local landlady who had accommodated several US Navy Seals during this period who were active at this base for two weeks (one of whom had continuous nightmares in his sleep - screaming out all night long). She also had many workmen stay there two years ago who stated that the major part of this base was being built deep underground. It is the primary and most important NATO base in Europe. B2 stealth bombers are rumoured to operate from there. There is not much to see at the surface - except Europe's longest runway. It runs E-W out to the Atlantic affording excellent unobserved from land approaches over the Atlantic. Low hills nearby could give some viewing advantages - if weather (90% rain and mist) allows. Or you could gain access to the western coast and sit under the flight path! Some UFO sightings are seen east of the base over on the North Sea coast of Scotland.

Good Luck. regards Name withheld) The plea for information over the internet that instigated this response from our informant was an inquiry posted as a general release over the net in preparation for a Beyond Boundaries expedition to England and Scotland July/ August of 1996. One of the topics we had planned to research was the reported "area 51" of Scotland which known as RAF Macrihanish. As this expedition was so full of scheduled research activities since the location of Macrihanish would have caused the expedition group to travel many miles on narrow roads for just the minute possibility of uncovering information on the subject we decided to make that research objective a one person project. Two persons from Beyond Boundaries stayed an extra week in Scotland to carry out this assignment. We made the trip to Campbelltown, researched old newspaper articles on the subject of the Chinook crash in June 1994, and talked with townspeople wherever we could find them in the mood to talk freely with us on the subject. One of the most interesting accounts of of that crash came from one of the town's librarians. She said there had always been a mystery about the area where on a bright and sunny day a mist suddenly appeared and the helicopter flew almost full speed into the cliff . She said that during World War II there were several unexplained incidences at that location and many of the townspeople felt this was an area of known for quite unusual phenomena. We immediately thought of the dimensional portals of Puerto Rico, as well as in other areas of the world, and of the shimmering curtains that people sometimes drive right into resulting in lost time experiences. El Yunque, the infamous Puerto Rican rainforest, and the involvement of Navy Seals in its mysteries prompted us to answer this letter in the following way pushing obviously the right buttons by asking the right questions:

Hi (name withheld)- You answered one of our pleas for help on Macrihanish information. We have had some experience with Navy Seals operations in Puerto Rico. Once, about two years ago, when on a research expedition there, a rescue team was at the edge of El Yunque supposedly on a mission to rescue two seals lost in the forest. Someone at the scene informed our group that seals had drowned a year before in a small stream (possibly temporarily running swift and deep) within that forest. The rescuers were taking the situation very seriously. A few hours later that night the huge lights on the rescue vehicles were turned off but with our flashlights we were able to see the two seals walk out of the forest with a third much smaller person, a ‘child’ whose head was almost covered with a poncho. My question is - why are seals involved in such bizarre operations? And what technology will bend or warp the VHF beam? Could this have anything to do with black helicopters? (questions were really popping fast and not necessarily sticking to the subject at the time of my writing the reply). My background is in pure mathematics with some engineering physics but what resources do I need to employ to understand this technology?. Do you know anything about RAF Bentwaters? Are Navy Seals involved there?- And, my most “off the wall” question of all - Are they going to be involved in the Hale Bopp thing with the companion? Sorry to bother you with so many trivial questions if you do not have any suggestions or answers - thanx for your help on understanding what happened to the Chinook and the Macrihanish enigma. My Understanding from an ex SAS trooper with loads of vhf beacon experience is that one man gaining access to the beacon Tx - which is on the Macrihanish airstrip - could tweak a timing circuit on the system for just a few minutes such that the Chinook would unknowingly follow a now 4km diverted beam into the hillside - then tweaking of timer is discontinued and beacon returns to normal....

Space plane Aurora and Soviet Cosmospheres apparently generate mists around them - some similar technology could presumably do same - see attached paper by Bearden (NOT FOR BROAD PUBLICATION)

I think the UK intelligence team on the Chinook were onto something re Macrihanish and were on the way to have it out there with US Navy Seal Forces.....

I have reports of cloaked Aurora "seen" landing over the calm sea - creating V shaped waves on the sea - but only a vague glimpse of the shimmering object as it flew very loudly over the golfers on the sand dunes at the seaward end of the Macrihanish strip.

INSERT EDITOR REMARKS: Remember that Macrihanish is the base where they paint the runway - longest runway in the world -to match the color of the grass and surrounding foliage of the season - and also remember it is supposed to now be a closed base - but looks just as closed as the Bentwaters base that Beyond Boundaries investigated on a similar expedition in 1995 - On that expedition we had two US military persons with us - one in a very high position at the present time - and both assured us Bentwaters is not closed - had every appearance of still in use.

RESPONSE No. 2 CONTINUES: Also, recently a driver picked up a US hitchhiker who asked to be driven into the Macrihanish strip, had ID papers that got them past the maingate security, then over towards sea and dunes then surrounded by US Space Troopers with space badges and sub machine guns who let the hitchhiker remain but showed driver the maingate ASAP. All this happened whilst the base is said to be on care and maintenance and closed down.

INSERT EDITOR REMARKS: When Beyond Boundaries visited the base in August of 1996 there was a guard on duty inside the little office guardhouse who stood back in the darkness and looked at us. We did not wish to create trouble there as we had no reason to attempt entry to the base - The previous July when we were within one block of the Bentwaters base we were accosted by private security forces asking us what we were doing in that area Later we were able to drive up to the wire fence of the base and spend as much time as we wanted observing the condition of facilities, etc. on the “closed” base.

RESPONSE No.2 CONTINUES: On my (letter writer continues story) visit there last month I saw two such blue beret troopers (large circular gold badges on their smocks) in a landrover driving on the track around the SE part of the base, I also noted that the very large farm sheds adjacent to the base (and slightly lower in altitude) appear to be covered entrances and storage areas to the main underground base built in the soft red sandstone that lies under the airstrip and surrounding area, construction of which was confirmed by the local landlady as being completed two years ago - just before the base "closed down".

Re Hale Bopp scenario - your guess is as good as mine..I've been following this scenario closely since whilst in the UK I was informed that certain key people have been given a warning to be well out of "Dodge" (ie. UK) for the January - March period because of Alien invasion.

Then, there is the local history involving unexplored underground caves that people have disappeared down - or returned from as crazies...even dogs gone nuts...I do not know but suspect all that stuff is convenient cover for Space Plan ops....Antigravity drives do warp local space-time and therefore you would expect some anomalous events???

PS: Did you hear about the 10 megajoule E/M beam transmitter complex being built near Dounray (SP???) in NE Scotland????I met an English physicist who is consulting on this site who said a USA outfit called Physics International from California was the main contractor re theory / systems et. and that this UK one is part of a Worldwide web of similar Tx sites being constructed right now....That's all I know as he would not discuss any secrets to do with the system, etc. Dounray is the UK experimental nuclear breeder reactor site on the NE tip of Scotland.
