I would like for you to meet, 
my new friend Silvio Maia, the
physicist who studies the spirits in the Amazon. Here is his story as
transcribed from a live radio broadcast I produced on Jan 30th from Belem
Brazil while on expedition there:

We had just arrived in the Belem airport, this 17th day of our Brazil expedition, when we saw Jose Luiz Martin Filho, waiting for us just outside the arrival gate. There had never been any doubt at any of the airports so far who our welcoming party was - always that instant soul to soul connection! Remember the story of the Alfredo Mendes, the sexton (janitor), who was abducted from the Catholic Churchyard? Jose, pronounced in Portuguese as Joe-say, is the researcher who sent us that rainforest green envelope covered with the beautiful Brazilian postage stamps and containing his story of that craft landing there in the churchyard. And standing there in our welcoming party was the pure soul of Alfredo Mendes, himself! Jose led us to our quaint little hotel in the city and told us his group had a meeting planned for us that evening. The gathering was created for the purpose of getting acquainted and information sharing with the local UFO phenomena researchers. Our time was very short in Belem - in fact much too brief. Here we were right on the mouth of the Amazon and at the edge of the exotic jungle and we only had less than two days - so it was rush, rush, to conserve all time possible. This is one of the lessons of a primary expedition - learning where to alot more time and where to plan less, and which locations to just skip.
We "freshened up" before Jose arrived to lead the 7 of us, traveling in the 6th of our line of rented unairconditioned VW Kombis, to the house of his friends. We were well aware of our "from slightly bedraggled to totally disheveled" appearances. Somehow finding laundries along the way had not been as easy as expected when doing pretrip planning.
Arriving just after dark at the beautiful penthouse overlooking the city, with its private rooftop swimming pool, we were met at the top of the stairs by a butler holding a tray of drinks. Gee, I thought in pure desperation. Wish, I had saved one decently clean shirt to wear to something like this. I never dreamed we would be in such an elegant situation here in the jungles of northern Brazil. And, the charming Congresswoman of 20 years, Lucia Viveiros, spoke to us in the Portuguese I wished I had spent more time learning before leaving home. In answering the question I had prompted Jose to ask her she was graciously saying, yes. We needed reliable phonelines to conduct our live broadcast that evening on Sightings and this place looked very reliable to me - but hanging out until 3 am was the real imposition I was dreading!
Sitting on the rooftop deck, out by the unbelievably spacious rooftop pool, were many people. There were university professors and scientists, a variety of UFO Researchers, dignitaries from the Brazilian government, reporters and photographers from the largest newspaper of the area, and one man who said he was of Greek descent who had joined up with us, somehow in the lobby of our hotel. I thought he was a friend of Jose and Jose thought he was traveling with our group. But, after handing me some of his UFO research from around his home in the Amazon jungle he soon left the party for a long bus ride home. The newspaper ran a full second page the next day on the events of this evening.
There was much exchange of conversation while I was busy with the preliminary production of the radio show - choosing the appropriate guests to be interviewed and faxing Jeff Rense with a preview of the guests and their topics to be discussed.
Following a delightful buffet dinner which had been planned to accommodate our vegetarian needs, the call came from Jeff in California, and the radio show began. And, this is where I heard one of the most fascinating stories of the entire expedition - from Silvio, an electrical engineer and a physicist, who works for the Merchant Marines of Brazil.
Silvio says it all started when he was 19 to 20 studying engineering in Brazil. Feeling all of his life that there was another presence traveling along through life with him, Silvio became very fascinated with the Shamanic practices in the nearby Amazonia Jungles. He decided to conduct a very scientific detailed study especially focused on the entities speaking through hundreds of people put into trances by the Shamans using various herbs and natural drugs of the forest. By using computers and other available technology he began his study of the villagers and the entities seemingly inhabiting their bodies during these induced trances. Traveling through the villages of the jungle he noticed that following ingestion of the various shamanic drugs the other villagers began drumbeats which reached and maintained certain frequencies. These frequencies were more interesting to our researcher than the drugs. Did the drumbeats match or change the frequencies of the brainwaves of the trance participants? Using an EEG Silvio would measure the resonant brainwave frequencies of the participants and tried to develop certain ohms matching these resonances. Taking kirlian photographs he would monitor changes in the natural body auras and its colors. Was there a difference in any of this phenomena caused by certain ones of the drugs. He took notes and one day he asked the the spirit coming through the host body, who claimed to be an old Indian, if he was another energy belonging to another parallel universe. After awhile the spirit said, Yes, I am from a parallel universe and not an old Indian at all. I belong to another planet and I have been with you since you were born because my frequency matches your frequency - our resonant frequencies are the same. I present myself to the world with different names so you may call me the Phoenix rising from the ashes, you may call me an Indian, you may call me what you want, but I know what I am. One day you will know. Silvio asked, "How do you come here?" The spirit answered, "Well, what are you talking to now?" I am a projection from another plane. You live in a 3 D world which is only a projection of some other universe. Silvio said he communicated only through the person whose body the spirit entity was inhabiting at that time but later on, while in meditation, he became able to received the messages by channeling. The spirit said it was not necessary for Silvio to use any medium for this communication other than his own brain / mind. Just get into the right resonant frequency and talk to them. But it was only this particular entity who had been with Silvio all of his life. And this entity introduced him to many other entities vibrating at other frequencies. They told him that there are many parallel universes intersecting many times forming portals in many places dimensional portals that are constantly changing in location throughout our 3 D world. These plane intersections are always changing causing new portals to form and the old ones to move around throughout our 3D space - a type of interlacing moving as the planes move. It is possible to predict the movement of these planes and therefore predict when portals will be open in our world to greatly enhance the communication with these entities from other worlds. They told Silvio that when one of us boards a craft during abduction / contact it is very common to meet people who are deceased from our world but who are now in form on another plane. And they told him that tonight they are going to prove this fact they have just told him. When Silvio turned on his TV that evening there was a popular rock singer talking on camera - an interview with her was taking place. And she was wearing a ring . Someone asked her where she got the ring and she said an extra terrestrial being had given it to her. Everyone laughed because she was a popular rock star talking about ETs! Someone was persistent with the questions about the object and she said, "well, since you want to know, I went aboard a craft and there I met some people there who had recently died on earth." This was a confirmation of what had been told to Silvio earlier by the entity. What we call reincarnation is really not at all like some people believe on earth. When we die our soul or ethereal body travels to another dimension where its DNA is adjusted - not the DNA of the old body but the DNA of the projection. What the soul first perceives upon reaching this spiritual dimension is the city of Gods and angels as described in world religions. What this stopover here is really for is for the Gods and angels to make repairs in the DNA from the dimension that gave the projection to the body. Many return to earth in new bodies as more intelligent humans. There is no such thing as the Karma some people believe in, at least not in the sense that you have to pay for your debts and mistakes. Life on earth is like just some kind of an experience that repairs and adjustments have to be made later for in the dimension to which we all travel after physical death occurs on earth.
Silvio asked what the entity means of transportation was here on earth. The entities replied that they use the water as means of enhancing materialization because water has a great concentration of energy. Life came from water. That is why water is used by world religions as the symbol of life, healing, a spiritual medium. Water helps acceleration of all steps and reactions in materializations. That is why there are so many craft sighted going into and coming out of ponds, lakes, and oceans throughout our planet. Really, there are not all the underwater bases some believe exist - They are using the water only like lances, as a portal location - to travel between parallel dimensions. For example it is very common in the Amazon region to see disk shaped craft in the water. Even the Merchant Marines Silvio works for have reported sightings of disk shaped craft. In these other dimensions you can materialize matter - it is all an illusion anyway - If a deceased person is really attached to his earthly body then that is what he materializes as his form in the new dimension. If not, then you can take on any illusion you want as your body to encompass your soul. If you are not so attached to your earthly body then you become a part of the whole as just energy without form until you materialize a new illusion of your choosing. In closing Silvio says, "THERE IS NO DEATH........YEAH, MAN, THERE IS NO DEATH."
