MEXICO EXPEDITION MARCH 1997

The Little Lamb

by Joyce L Murphy

We were all packed into our minibus, complete with Raul, our driver, in his seat. Our guide Jose went back into the IMSS Resort for a telephone call. The receptionist had come outside to where we were parked to summon him to the phone saying there was a doctor in the town Puebla calling and would he please take the call. We waited for a short time until Jose came back and told us that this doctor had something very important to share and would we please wait another 45 minutes until she could arrive by car from Puebla. Jose explained that this was a very urgent plea from this lady doctor and that it might have something to do with the Mexico chupacabras! The chupacabras is out terrorizing this area of Mexico, bearing the same description as the Puerto Rican chupa we are very familiar with.

If you have read our description of the Puerto Rico chupa you know that the creature stands erect on his back two legs and sometimes is described as reaching a height of at least six feet. There are shorter versions mentioned but all have cloven hooves and two red eyes that project laser like beams onto the ground at night serving as a form of guidance possibly. There is no evident means of flight or propulsion but this creature has been seen levitating or flying a distance of at least 50 feet from tree to tree. He supposedly has two fang like teeth, one of which projects telescopically to reach the jugular of its intended victim to inject first an anasthetic substance before draining the body and organs of any trace of blood, all in just a couple of seconds. The poor victim's body is said to never go into rigor mortis and other animals refuse to go near it.

Captures of this monster have been reported in Puerto Rico, accomplished by "government" officials taking the caged chupa onto US Air Force or Navy planes to be carted off to laboratories or mysterious research sites within the mainland United States. Beyond Boundaries office received one call supposedly from a man who had talked with a person in a Cozumel, Mexico bar claiming fame as a U.S. Navy Seal. The Seal was reportedly in a "loose tongue" state after a few drinks and was talking about the chupacabras aboard a US Navy ship just off the coast of Cozumel which would soon be enroute to one of these mystery sites in the US. Of course, no one ever hears anymore of what the "US lab" learned about this chupacabras, nothing about it's origin, or what is being done to rid the small farmsteads of both Mexico and Puerto Rico of this menace to their sometimes meager backyard food supply.

In both locations of the world the residents are mad as hell when this creature comes to their home in the night, rips open the strongest of steel cages, takes scores of chickens depended upon for eggs and meat, sometimes rabbits, goats and sheep, and in one case a 500 lb steer, and sucks the victim dry of blood tossing it aside when his ravenous appetite is finally satisfied. Some local governments have made attempts to help the local farmsteaders plight and one politician, Mayor Soto of Canovanas PR, formed a political platform on the issue and was re-elected on the premise that he will rid his constituency of this menace.

While on location with Japanese journalists Beyond Boundaries researchers visited a veterinarian near San Juan who had performed necropsies on hundreds of chupa victims but had no plausible answers. He was was definitely one good example of a scientist type allowing personal belief in the paranormal as a result of his experiences. To us it was no surprise that a Puebla physician would be coming to speak with our group concerning the Mexico chupa, if this were actually the subject we were to hear about.

The vivavious and pretty little Dr. Maria Arvigo appeared on the scene almost exactly 45 minutes later. We were in one of the lobbies of the huge IMSS resort waiting for her. This MD Pediatrician bounced into the room, a beautiful little lady in her 40's, her white coat flopping as she quickly took the middle of the floor as her podium. She explained to us that because of her extensive training in pathology the Mexican government had chosen, appointed, or commanded her (not clear on whether or not she had a choice in this situation) to perform the necropsies on victims of the chupacabras in Mexico. One thing she wanted to make perfectly clear to us before beginning the story she intended to share with us was that she is a pure scientist with no belief in the paranormal or pseudo sciences. In fact, she did not even have a belief in the UFOs that she told us flew over her city of Puebla everyday at 3 pm on their way to the volcano very near the IMSS Resort there in Atlixco. We already knew that in at least one such instance the Puebla television station moved their live cameras to the roof during a news broadcast to film the UFOs enroute at the daily time on their course over the city headed toward the volcano.

It is common, local residents had previously told us, to see UFOs flying into and coming out of the volcano. In fact the Mexican government had actually dropped bombs into the volcano for reasons unknown to the people. The reasons are unproven certainly by us but two hypotheses have been formed by members of other expeditions: that the bombs somehow control the constant threat of eruption; or that the bombs were an attempt to destroy the reptilian base reported by some UFOlogists to exist under the volcano. It would be my guess that Dr. Arvigo chose denial to the possible origin and occupants to the UFOs because the threat such knowledge might be to the limitations of organized science. By the way, Dr. Arvigo spoke perfect English which was especially an asset in her presentation of this story that follows, for there was no way anything she told us could be misinterpreted or lost in the translation.

One day, Maria Arivigo's story begins, she was called out to a site where a little lamb had been attacked and most likely by the infamous fearful chupacabras. But what made this case clearly different was that the victim was left very much alive. In fact, as the doctor told us, not only was the lamb still alive but it was also seemingly fully conscious. So Dr. Arvigo began an examination of a live victim rather than the non stiffened by rigor mortis carcass of a dead one.

There was no pulse in this victim and absolutely no heartbeat. Time and time again she listened for the heartbeat and felt for the pulse which definitely should have been present due to this victims conscious state with the telltale entrance wound made in the neck by the portruding fang of the chupacabras. This was so amazing to this well trained pathologist and MD pediatrician, that she sat there on the scene holding this lamb for 12 hours.

We could hardly accept the 12 hours part of this story. We should have been more fascinated by the astonishing live lamb with no signs of blood in its veins and arteries but the 12 hours is what startled our focus on the story. We asked several times to make sure she was speaking the same English we were understanding. Twelve hours or twelve minutes? It was definitely twelve hours, the doctor exclaimed again and again to us.

How could this little lamb be alive in the first place, and then live on for another 12 hours? But this fact of the story was not the most astonishing at all we soon learned. For Dr. Maria Arvigo, still very much in shock herself over these paranormal events occurring in her purely scientific world, told us that this little lamb had a message for her. And, she showed us by pointing to the area of what we lesser pure science types call the third eye, the reception of the message occurred in this manner. The little lamb obviously had telepathically imparted it's message to her. It took us a couple of minutes to recover our composure as Dr. Arvigo went on to explain the contents of the message. In her exact words to us, CONSCIOUSNESS SURVIVES THE PHYSICAL.

Then the little lamb died. Maria conducted her usual and normal such necropsy on this tiny victim to find all the expected results. Like every other such chupacabras victim she had examined this little lamb had absolutely no trace of blood having ever been present in its tissues and organs, the extraction of such fluid must have been very rapid as in a few seconds, and there was no other fluid present in such veins and arteries.

How could this little lamb have survived for 12 hours after the arrival of Dr. Arvigo and possibly just in order to deliver it's precious message? We don't know, none of our expedition members could explain the phenomena, and certainly there was nothing in Maria's scientific world that could support this event.

There is one more statement to this story that Dr. Arvigo expressed to us. For some reason unknown to any of us the Mexican authorities, meaning most likely the Mexican government officials involved in such investigation, had threatened her with loss of her life if she passed this story on. That was the reason for her urgency in making sure the people on our expedition at that time heard her story.

All names in the above story have been altered to somewhat protect the people involved in this story. I hope this reassurance of this truth already known by spiritually advanced people living in our world of the paranormal paralleling pure science has touched your heart and life as much as it has mine.
